ANSI Z87+ Safety Glasses are glasses that have been rated by the American National Standards Institute to meet the high-velocity eyewear impact requirements. This means that the glasses are ballistically approved and can be safely used in potentially dangerous environments.

ANSI Z87.1 is the general safety standard used to denote whether a pair of glasses meet general safety requirements. Z87+ denotes that a pair of safety glasses is high-impact ballistic rated.

Generally, it takes between 12 business days from the date of order to the shipping date. Certain coatings and additional items may delay this time, but if it is going to take longer, one of our Customer Service Representatives will reach out to you.

Glasses must be stamped with Z87+ if they are high impact rated AND Z87.1 for general safety. Otherwise, they only need to be marked with the manufacturer's mark. Detachable side shields will be marked separately from the main lenses.

Prescription safety glasses do not expire, however constant, hard wear may cause frames to break or need repair over time. Furthermore, as you age, your eyes will change and your prescription may increase. In this case, we can remake the lenses for your safety glasses so that you don't need to buy a new frame.

The cost of prescription safety glasses varies depending on the frame, the lens material, and any coatings or special accessories that have been selected. Safety Lenses are made of a variety of materials including Polycarbonate, Trivex, High Index 1.67 and 1.74, and even Standard Glass. When purchasing your glasses, you will be given a list of options for lens material, coatings, prescriptions, etc. If you want to know more about a specific material, or its properties, please reach out to one of our Customer Service Representatives. Only Polycarbonate and Trivex meet the Z87+ High Impact Ballistic Standards all other materials are General Z87.1 approved

Yes, though which tints can be applied will depend on the material that you select for your lenses. We offer a variety of tinting options and colors, including a wide selection of Transitions, which can be added at the time of purchase, along with scratch-resistant, and anti-fog coatings.

Yes, we offer worldwide shipping options. The only countries we cannot ship to are Iran, North Korea, Syria, Sudan, Cuba, and Venezuela.

When purchasing glasses, it will list on the product page under Additional Information, whether a pair of frames are safety rated, and in what way they are rated. You can also reach out to our Customer Service Representatives if you have any questions about frame or lens protection levels.

No, we do not accept insurance, however, you still may be able to get reimbursed through your insurance company. To do so, we can supply you with an itemized receipt and invoice which you then can provide to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

The difference between the single vision and digital single vision is that digital single vision is essentially an upgraded version of the standard single vision option. You can think of digital single vision as the "HD", or high definition, version of single vision glasses. Digital single vision offers better optics and a wider range of vision. While this option is slightly more expensive than standard single vision, it is usually worth the extra money for the upgraded range of view. This is a good choice, particularly for people with higher prescriptions or those seeking wraparound frames since optics tend to be more distorted in these types of glasses.

Yes you can. We supply polarized lenses for all of our Prescription Sunglasses and standard Sunglasses. You can also add a tint to your Safety Glasses.

Frame only is not available for purchase, all of our frames are supplied with safety lenses fitted.

This will vary depending on what options you have chosen on the prescription pages. It takes around 14 days to manufacture prescription lenses however if you have selected to have additional coatings applied to you glasses this can add another week or two to the time frame depending on how many coatings you have chosen. This is because of the chemical process used to apply the coatings and cannot be sped up.
Once you order has been approved by quality control, it will be shipped to you to enjoy.

All of our prescription glasses are manufactured to custom specifications and so are not refundable. We can offer you a refund on your frames and can apply a discount to your next order.

We work hard to represent all of our glasses as accurately as possible, however there may be some variations between the actual colours due to variations of computer screens and lighting conditions.
